Quick Start

Once you have successfully installed the MyVideoRoom Plugin and entered a valid key you can start to add video chat interfaces to pages in your site.

Using your preferred page editor add a shortcode object anywhere to a page. The shortcode will be replaced by the Video Meeting Control (for mobile and for tablets/browsers).  The final size of the section will be dictated by the scene image size and shape and the width of the section it is implemented in. (image aspect ratio will be preserved)

If you don’t supply any parameters to the shortcode you will get a room named after your web site name [yoursitename.com], with site administrators as a host, and everyone else as a guest, using the default meeting template of a 10 person boardroom as seen here.

Information about how to setup the shortcode can be found here and we recommend that you first use the default code in the settings page to check that your licence key is installed properly.

Example using elementor page builder adding a shortcode block

Video Control rendered from Shortcode

1) With any page editor add a shortcode object with the shortcode (clubcloud_app) anywhere on any page in your site. The shortcode will be replaced by the Video Meeting Control (for mobile and for tablets/browsers).

If you don’t supply any parameters to the shortcode you will get a room named after your web site name [yoursitename.com], with site administrators as a host, and everyone else as a guest, using the default meeting template of a 10 person boardroom

2) You can use different settings for hosts and guests of your meeting room by changing the arguments you send to the shortcode. See a common list here

3) Hosts can: Admit and remove people from the reception to a room, start a meeting, end a meeting, start or end recordings (if enabled in site subscription), mute people, control the room.

Guests can: Join a meeting, leave a meeting, share a screen, change their sound/camera settings, and control whose video feed they watch
